Within a Space that only has an Inside
This temporary installation was developed in 2015 at the Camargo Foundation during a one month residency through the BAU institute in New York. The piece is located in a largely unnoticed area between three buildings, and is viewed only from an upper and lower window. The work is made with found materials from activities and of the the local beach culture at the Mediterranean Sea in Southern France. Cast aside umbrella framework, sails, string and clothes lines extrude from the architecture to reveal a forgotten space and fragments of a vacation shelter.
